A bit of history...

The formation of a bowling club in Maclean, to cater for the lower river area, began when several business men convened a steering committee meeting on the 28 November, 1929. At the time there was only one other Club on the river – Grafton City on the riverbank at Kent Street, Grafton. During this meeting a decision was made to canvas the business men of the town and a Club was formed on 5 December, 1929... and the rest, as they say, is history!
